We are a vitreoretinal practice that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the retina and vitreous, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, venous and arterial occlusions, retinal detachments, retinal tears, macular holes and macular puckers. We pride ourselves on providing the most advanced retinal care in friendly, hometown offices. We perform medical and surgical treatment of vitreoretinal diseases, as well as procedures, including eye injections and laser treatments. Dr. Mangla is a board certified retinal surgeon with extensive training and experience in diagnosing and treating retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments and more.
After training and working for years in and out of Michigan, Dr. Mangla is excited to be back near his hometown and eager to start serving the Michigan Thumb! What is a Retina Specialist?
Retina specialists are highly trained eye physicians and surgeons who focus specifically on the retina (the layer of the back of the eye responsible for sight), macula (the center of the retina) and vitreous (the gel in the middle of the eye).
